Its safe to say galavanting around the West Coast will always have a special place in my heart. Although this was my second road trip, I had the privilege to drive the long stretch this time around with my best friend, fellow-photographer and partner in crime which made all the difference. Copious amounts of money later and I’ve received all my memories back in the mail. My first trip to the Grand Canyon, test shoots under the scorching sun and a close call in the California desert, I think we made the most of it.
After Spotlyte introduced me to Rachel Liverman - CEO and Co-founder of New York’s hottest facial bar Glowbar - on another assignment, she had me back to photograph her new location in Tribeca. Gorgeous minimal design, with pops of their signature “Glowbar red”, had me swooning and pulling out my phone to make a facial appointment asap. Images have been featured on Guest of a Guest and The Klog.
Photographing Gretchen in her Brooklyn home on behalf of Loeffler Randall, was an absolute pleasure. Former fashion designer, Gretchen Jones, works as a strategic business adviser, keynote speaker and is an all-around badass babe. Her distinct sense of style hit me the second I entered her home and it was hard coming out of there without a huge surge of inspiration to go conquer the creative world. Completely overdue sharing these images, but I had the pleasure of photographing the digs over at Urban Cowboy’s Nashville location this past summer. With each room more beautifully curated than the last, I can’t tell you how much I was drooling over this place! A bathtub in every room, every instrument known to man hanging on the walls(not that I can play any of them), I was in cowboy HEAVEN. It took everything in me not to pocket the turquoise jewelry and make a run for it! :P
